00:00I would like to say a few words about the possible consequences of the disbanding of MAFCCOM.
00:08First, the decision on MHB will be unilateral in the Executive Board.
00:16This means that GIP, which will be a substantial shareholder,
00:22will have the voice to do various things without the public and private knowledge.
00:31Second, we do not know when there is no regulator such as MAFCCOM,
00:36which is free from the Ministry of Transport,
00:38what actually comes out of our country.
00:41Third, the decision to involve the government, the aviation sector,
00:47which is now owned by the Ministry of Transport,
00:49and the power of the Ministry of Employment is getting bigger.
00:51The people of Malaysia must know, even though they did not answer my question yesterday,
00:55about the security and integrity aspects of our people's data,
01:01which is used for aviation.
01:03And also, in terms of the security aspects of the country,
01:06it is also not answered when I link the role of GIP, BlackRock,
01:12with the US foreign base,
01:14through Indo-Pacific Economic Framework,
01:17to contain and counter China,
01:21which we know has a big role in the Belt and Road Initiative in our country.
01:27So, all of this shows that there are many problems when MAFCCOM is disbanded.
01:33There is no more oversight from the free party.
01:36And this is why we asked the Prime Minister yesterday,
01:40if we do not bring in the Cabinet,
01:42and the Minister of Transport does not know about this discussion,
01:45does MAFCCOM know about the sale of this MAHB?
01:49And because MAFCCOM knows, and MAFCCOM has the power,
01:51and there is a say in this,
01:53does this mean that the Ministry finally wants to disband MAFCCOM
01:57to smoothen the process of MAHB's privatization,
02:01and also make it easier for GIP, BlackRock,
02:04to have control over the management of MAHB and our airfields?
02:08MAFCCOM is our last bastion, actually,
02:12to protect the sovereignty of our airfields.
02:14MAFCCOM is actually the main fighter
02:17to ensure justice in the business transactions
02:20involving MAHB and GIP, BlackRock.
02:24Unfortunately, today, the Malaysian people as well,
02:27we are witnessing that Nissan stones will be made in this court.
02:30Why? Because we have a wealthy government.
02:34A government that will hit whatever their majority is.
02:38So, Mr. Speaker,
02:40I, along with all my fellow MPs,
02:43refuse to oppose the disbandment of MAFCCOM.
02:45We ask that it be sent to the select committee first
02:48to be investigated by the parliament.
