00:15What does the LGBTQIA plus community symbolize?

00:21we'll be joined by the LGBTQIA plus advocate,

00:33What does the rainbow pride flag symbolize?

00:38Well, it has a lot of flags.

00:40It's like I'm wearing it, right?

00:42It has a lot of symbolisms.

00:44But it really just means a celebration of the diversity

00:48of the LGBTQIA plus community.

00:51How diverse it is.

00:53But we celebrate that difference.

00:56It's the logo of GMA.

00:58No matter what color of life you have,

01:02Aside from the rainbow pride flag,

01:04there are other ways to celebrate the LGBTQIA plus community.

01:13This one is the original pride flag.

01:18The six colors.

01:21This was developed in 1978 by an American LGBTQIA plus advocate.

01:27Next is the transgender flag.

01:30This is the transgender flag.

01:32The colors symbolize our genders.

01:35Baby blue is for males.

01:37Pink is for females.

01:39And white is for non-binary people.

01:41The one in between.

01:44This is the bisexual flag.

01:46It's the same.

01:47Pink or dark pink symbolizes female attraction.

01:52Blue symbolizes male attraction.

01:54And the one in the middle, purple,

01:56symbolizes both attractions of bisexuality.

01:59At least now we know what the different flags mean.

02:02We also have a wider range of pronouns.

02:06It's not just he or she.

02:09There's also they and them.

02:11What does it mean?

02:13What does it mean to your community, Thais?

02:17That's right.

02:18It's important.

02:19Even though Tagalog has no pronouns,

02:22our language of business is English.

02:24So, when we refer respectfully to our speakers in terms of their pronouns,

02:29we should ask them.
