00:00Guys, it's lovely to meet you and congratulations on a great show, by the way. I'm really enjoying

00:05what I've seen so far. Just for those who don't know, how much history is actually in the show?

00:12We took some parts that worked and that we liked and the parts we didn't like, we said we threw

00:18them away because we wanted to have fun with this retelling and you know there's historically

00:25accurate projects that exist and there's a great space for that. This is not that.

00:30We're just really inspired by her sort of tragedy and story.

00:34But we did have some little moments of genuine history that are so fun, like they did eat

00:38dolphin. No, a lot of the little details, the costumes that we wore, I wore two corsets and

00:46they strapped me in every day and you know we shot in Tudor appropriate locations and then

00:54also our set designer Will Hughes-Jones built incredibly accurate interiors.

00:59It looks amazing.

01:00So there is a lot of fun for history lovers. There's a lot of real stuff in there.

01:04I'm finding it so weird hearing your normal accent.

01:06Isn't it? She's got a better English accent than I do.

01:10Yeah, it's easy actually to do that posh English accent.

01:13I think, do you know, it's the one that you would learn first, I suppose, rather than the more

01:20London kind of, but you know, it's funny when I was here hanging out with everyone, I actually

01:25would have moments where I'd slip a bit more London.

01:28Oh yeah, you code switched.

01:29I would code switch.

01:30What's your London, how does that sound?

01:33Oh jeez, you've put me on the spot.

01:35It's going to be, it might be like borderline.

01:39You don't have to offend me.

01:40It's like Jordan, he's like, it's a bit more loose.

01:42Yeah, it is fair.

01:43You know, it's like, you talk a bit, I don't know, like that.

01:46You're really good at it.

01:48Yeah, the RP, the sort of received pronunciation is what we were doing in this because it's just

01:55sort of what you expect they sounded like.

01:57I don't think we actually fully know.

01:58Yeah.

01:59Does funny come to you guys naturally?

02:02Because it's a very funny series.

02:04What was really nice, I didn't feel pressure to be that funny.

02:07The scripts for our characters are really funny, but I didn't feel pressure because

02:10it's surrounded by so many like comedy geniuses who are playing such a like range of comedy

02:17characters from like villains to good guys, like all of it sort of, I think made it really

02:23easy for us to like relax into the script and be like, look, if the jokes land, that's

02:28great.

02:28But we're sort of the serious ones holding it together.

02:31Yeah.

02:31You know, it's Jane and Guilford are acting like it's, like you said, Hamlet.

02:36It's a very, taking everything very seriously.

02:39And I think that's the fun about this show is there is the sort of heart and center that's

02:44surrounded by all this humor and fantasy and then getting to work with these giants, Rob

02:49and Anna.

02:50I was like, I'll take your lead.

02:52They're so good.

02:54I love in these shows, the intros that they give people, like for instance, for Guilford's

03:02it's Frequenter of Tappans, Seeker of Trouble, Son of Lord Dibley and Lust Object of One,

03:07Lady Jane Grey.

03:08I wanted to know if you were going to have your own talk up intro, what would yours say?

03:13My own epithet.

03:15Yeah.

03:16Is that what it's called?

03:17An epithet is like when you have like the word just before your name.

03:20It's like in like ancient Greek literature.

03:23Swift-footed Achilles.

03:25I would, okay, let me think.

03:27Collector of Seashells.

03:29Oh, that's really good.

03:29Hunter of Gemstones.

03:32Lover of Spamasubis.

03:39Should I get it on a business card?

03:40Yeah, you should.

03:41People will be like, oh, what?

03:42But the business card is huge, it's massive.

03:44It's a giant one.

03:45It's a poster, it's one of those giant checks.
