People say you don't feel the same about your dog after having a baby.... We talked to this new mom to see if that's actually true! ❤️

00:24He stopped jumping, he was much more gentle, he really just wanted to lay down next to

00:32After undergrad there was a guy sitting in the seat next to me and I thought that he

01:01was kind of cute.

01:02And I was trying to figure out how to approach him and so I looked up weird fun animal facts

01:08to say at parties and the fact was, did you know when a snake has two heads they fight

01:12each other for food?

01:13He said, no I didn't know that because why would he?

01:16Why would anybody ever know that?

01:17Why would anyone open a conversation like that?

01:42I was in my third year of medical school which is consuming.

01:46It's really not the right time to get a dog.

01:57It's hard to bring a dog home when you have no experience owning dogs.

02:02We have never had large homes so I wouldn't give us more than 700 square feet of space.

02:07I would say he has leapt through every inch of all of those 700 feet.

02:15As long as he gets his energy out he's content.

02:28We had already mutually decided to elope but I won this free engagement photo shoot.

02:32I wasn't expecting it to turn into an actual proposal but it did.

02:36The most important thing for me for that was that Pony was involved and I got a matching

02:41pink collar with flowers to go with my pink outfit and I found a pink leash.

02:48We always knew we wanted to have kids but I was scared for a lot of reasons.

02:52I was afraid I would love something more than Pony.

02:57A lot of my apartment is dedicated to Ponyboy.

03:00So we'll start with this which is a gigantic art piece of Pony leaping.

03:23Yes it's true that this is the bathroom and yet here we have Ponyboy making a poo on our

03:35And every single person is very eager to tell you that you won't love your dog the same

03:39once the baby comes.

03:42I knew my heart wouldn't change I know myself.

03:45There are certain choices that we make around ourselves and each other to make sure that

03:51everyone in the family has space and that it's not all about just one of us.

03:55Now when he wants to do zoomies he waits until we say it's okay because he knows that the

04:00baby is vulnerable.
