00:00That's really interesting. It's all tied together, which makes me wonder does all of this tie back to the warming climate the changing climate
00:08How much can we blame climate change for the headlines and the weather that we are discussing right now?
00:14Some of it is I think still there's other things that are factored
00:18We didn't even get into like the Northeast Pacific water temperatures the way they are orientated right now. It's I think it's driving unusually
00:25Strong fronts into the northwest which is pumped up this high in the East Coast
00:29But you look at the water temperature analysis right now. Look at the temperature departures
00:35For the Atlantic Basin running warmer than last year's record-breaking
00:40year, so
00:42Today, it's still above
00:442023 that warmth that air is rising from the oceans and also
00:49Creating changes in the upper level patterns in the Atlantic and across the globe
00:53And so I think that is having an effect North America right now. It's one of the hottest areas to be right now
00:59So I think we're seeing you know
01:01Influences in climate change on the warming of parts of our oceans that's having an effect
01:06But again, I think there's other things to involve in the shorter term for these special events
01:12North America is one of the hottest places to be and it will be that way and to tell us again
01:16When is this weather going to break?
01:19Well, I think I got some bad news on this one
01:23I think it does break a little bit next week in the east but kind of confines itself in the southwest
01:28But we are watching here at AccuWeather
01:31For the potential for another heat wave similar to this to come on the week leading up to the 4th of July
01:36So it could come back again very end of June into the start of July for another surge of heat our
01:43forecasts from back in the spring
01:45Multiple heat waves
01:47Multiple heat waves for the summer months from the Midwest to the Northeast and so far that looks like it's working out
