00:19like Shaboosey, like Shaboosey, who's my friend now.
00:23I'm proud of him because he's he what he's doing is he's opening up doors for everyone
00:28because he's doing it in a different style.
00:30He's doing it his way.
00:30You know, as far as Post Malone goes, like, you know, Post Malone's a pop artist
00:35who came in as a rapper and now he's doing country too.
00:40And he's opening up doors for everyone too.
00:43And then, you know, you got the biggest out of all of them is Jelly Roll.
00:46Right.
00:47He's my big inspiration too.
00:48Because like, you know, like I just feel like he's timeless as far as like him being what?
00:54He's 40 now?
00:54Yeah.
00:55I think he's like 39.
00:56Yeah.
00:56He's 40 years old.
00:57And he just got his big break.
00:59And I think that's inspiring to every artist.
01:01Me being 33 years old and doing this right now and feeling like I have no gap.
01:06Right.
01:07That's why I like artists like Chris Stapleton, who's my favorite.
01:09And it's one of the reasons why I started doing this.
01:12It's just been such so much love.
01:15And it's been I feel like I'm being accepted.
01:17They sat me down front row at the CMA Festival.
01:21All the artists Noah Khan came up to me, hugged me and was like, hey, I need you to style me.
01:26And I was like, what?
01:28Like, really?
01:29Yeah.
01:29I was like, really?
01:30Like, I love him.
01:30You know what I mean?
01:31And, you know, Jelly came and hugged me at the CMA Fest.
01:34Lainey Wilson.
01:35She remembered me, which was crazy.
01:37Yeah.
01:37But, you know.
01:38Well, you're a memorable guy.
01:39I mean, I can see why people are remembering you and why people are looking to you for style,
01:42inspiration and all kinds of things.
01:44What's a dream collaboration for you?
01:46A dream collaboration?
01:48What, country or just overall?
01:49I'd say overall, but particularly country.
01:52Well, I want to work with Chris Stapleton.
01:54Yeah.
01:55I love him.
01:56The whole genre thing started when I covered Johnny Cash and his family posted me on his
02:01Instagram in 2019.
02:03That's when that happened.
02:04That's how this whole thing started.
02:05Because I thought if his family could post me, then it's pretty good.
02:11Right.
02:12So I did the covering and from there it opened.
02:14But, you know, the collaborations, I recorded his album.
02:20Majority's album was recorded in Muscle Shoals.
02:22And Lana Del Rey recorded her new album in Muscle Shoals, too.
02:25And that was exciting for me because that's a dream collab.
02:28I want to do a song with me, Chris Stapleton and Lana Del Rey.
02:31OK.
02:31That, to me, is like insane.
02:33Have you pitched this?
02:34Is this something you've said out loud before?
02:36No, this is the first time.
02:37OK.
02:37All right.
02:37Well, let's make it happen.
02:39Let's do it.
02:39Let's do it.
02:40It's being birthed right here.
02:41And I feel like you put the energy out there and things start happening.
