00:07I think, again, getting it done early, pretty solid business.

00:11What are your thoughts on that?

00:14The Harrison one, I don't know if we've ever really properly dug into it, but Leeds are

00:19suffering a direct consequence of the January transfer madness that took hold when it seems

00:29like Andrea Raduzani was open to the idea of Jack Harrison getting his move to Leicester

00:35and then others in the boardroom were not so keen and talked the whole thing down off

00:40the ledge.

00:42But because they'd sent him down there and he thought that the move was happening and

00:45he'd gone to the training ground and it was all pressing ahead and then suddenly he was

00:49told, no, get back here.

00:51It's almost like there was a, you know, oh, we're so sorry, oh, so sorry, poor Jack here,

00:56have this contract, have this new contract.

00:59You know what?

01:00Have a release clause, even though we're about to get relegated and we know what's going

01:03to happen.

01:07It's just, it's insane to me.

01:10I can understand why that contract dealing was so heavily weighted in the player's favour,

01:16but my God, it did not need to come to that, did it?

01:19You know, they shouldn't have ever been, they should never even have, there should never

01:22have been a consideration of selling him in that window.

01:25They needed him so badly.

01:29And yeah, he might not have been having a great season, but he was a player who was

01:34capable of coming up with a goal or coming up with a decent cross and coming up with

01:38moments and the idea of selling him was just absolutely wild.

01:45So right now, what you're saying is the knock-on effect of that whole scenario and of all the

01:52loan clauses, I think it's the worst for me.

01:56Look, it is what it is, the reality of the situation.

01:59You could argue that, you know what, it's probably best to not have a player on your

02:03books who doesn't really want to be there, or at least in your squad that doesn't want

02:08to be there.

02:09He's, you know, it's the full wage coverage has been confirmed.

02:15So everything, you know, paying his entire wage package, it's a straight loan so that

02:19he still leads player, still has two years, well, three years actually left on his deal

02:24when he returns next summer.

02:27So good opportunity to sell him at market value if he has a good season.

02:32I can't really see that the downside to this deal other than you don't get a Jack Harrison

02:38or, you know, a 27-year-old, you know, more closely finished article Jack Harrison in

02:43the championship.

02:44Again, yes, it'd be useful, but there's lots of players out there and I think, you know,

02:49a lot of fans have probably come to the end of their tether with the whole loan situation.
