00:00The Island of Sodor is surrounded by beautiful blue sea.

00:28It has fields of green and sandy yellow beaches.

00:32There are rivers, streams and lots of trees where the birds sing.

00:37There are windmills and a coal mine and docks where visitors to the island arrive.

00:45The island also has lots and lots of railway lines.

00:49Who's that puffing down the track?

00:54It's Thomas! Hello Thomas!

00:59Hello everybody! Welcome to the island of Sodor.

01:12Rheneas and the Dinosaur

01:15Rheneas and Skarloey are the best of friends.

01:19They love working together.

01:23And they enjoy shunting trucks.

01:26They biff them and they bash them all day long.

01:33That summer some men from the Sodor Museum had found some very old bones.

01:39When they put the bones together they made the skeleton of a dinosaur.

01:45That morning a photographer arrived on the island to photograph the dinosaur.

01:50Thomas was to take him to the transfer yards.

01:57At the transfer yards Mr Percival was talking to his engines.

02:02The dinosaur will soon be ready to go to the Sodor Museum, Mr Percival said.

02:08I will need two very careful engines to collect it.

02:12Rheneas and Skarloey were very excited.

02:16We can be really careful, puffed Rheneas. Watch!

02:22Rheneas shunted some trucks gently together.

02:26But Skarloey was too excited to be careful.

02:32The thin controller was cross.

02:36Rheneas and Skarloey you are not careful engines, Mr Percival said.

03:28His pistons pounded and his axles ached.

03:32But Rheneas kept going.

03:34Must take the dinosaur, must take the dinosaur, he puffed.

03:39Later at the transfer yards, Mr Percival came to see Rheneas.

03:43Rheneas, you have worked very hard today, said Mr Percival kindly,

03:48and pulled very heavy trucks, very carefully on your own.

03:54This made Rheneas very proud.

03:58So I have decided you can collect the dinosaur, Mr Percival added.

04:23He watched Rheneas race quickly away to collect the dinosaur.

04:28Rheneas chuffed cheerfully through the mountains.

04:32But when Rheneas arrived to collect the dinosaur, he was surprised.

04:37The dinosaur was very, very big.

04:41But Rheneas was sure he was strong enough to pull it.

04:45He coupled up to the flatbed and pulled with all his puff.

04:54He started to puff his way back to the yards.

04:57Rheneas blew his whistle as he puffed through Middle Station.

05:02Everyone thought the dinosaur skeleton was wonderful.

05:06And they all gave Rheneas a big cheer.

05:09Rheneas was very proud.

05:15Rheneas was puffing slowly up a hill.

05:18But the flatbed was too heavy.

05:20His puff was going up the hill.

05:24And his pistons could hardly pump.

05:27Rheneas puffed slower and slower.

05:31Then, he rolled back down the hill.

05:36He could go no further.

05:38Oh, no! he moaned.

05:41I'll never get the dinosaur to the transfer yards now.

05:45Rheneas felt terrible.

05:48Then, he remembered.

05:51I wish Skarloey was here to help me, he sighed.

05:58Skarloey was still on his way to collect trucks from the timber yards.

06:03As he came round a bend in the line,

06:06he was very surprised to see a dinosaur blocking the track.

06:10Out of my way! Skarloey tooted loudly.

06:14Rheneas heard Skarloey.

06:18Skarloey was still upset with Rheneas.

06:20He didn't want to help.

06:22I was silly to think I could pull this on my own,

06:25puffed Rheneas sadly.

06:27It needs two engines, and I need you.

06:30From now on, I'll always want us to work together.

06:34That made Skarloey feel better.

06:37Skarloey was still on his way to collect trucks from the timber yards.

06:41As he came round a bend in the line,

06:45That made Skarloey feel much better,

06:48and he buffered up to the flatbed to help his friend.

06:55Together, they pushed the dinosaur safely up the hill,

07:00and all the way back to the yards.

07:05Rheneas and Skarloey puffed happily into the transfer yards,

07:09just as Thomas arrived with the photographer.

07:15Rheneas and Skarloey had their picture taken with the dinosaur.

07:19They were delighted.

07:24They were both pleased to be friends again,

07:27and they both agreed that working with your friend is the best job of all.
