00:00All right, the Yankees are getting back Garrett Cole, he's going to pitch tomorrow night against
00:07the Baltimore Orioles.
00:08He hasn't pitched at all this season.
00:09He's looked good thus far in his rehab stints, but naturally it just was rehab.
00:14It wasn't the big leagues and the Orioles are no slouch, but Garrett Cole is back and
00:19he will pitch tomorrow night and we'll see what happens.
00:21Meanwhile, the Yankees are going to have to figure some things out.
00:25They did call up a young player by the name of Ben Rice.
00:28I just saw that the New York Post is reporting that this morning because Anthony Rizzo is
00:33going on the injured list four to six weeks with an arm fracture.
00:37And I don't think they're calling this kid up to sit.
00:40Although yesterday they said DJ LeMay, he was going to play first base.
00:42So maybe they pivoted from that.
00:44I'll check.
00:45I'll keep an eye on this throughout the show.
00:46Also Trey Turner back for the Philadelphia Phillies.
00:49They win by a final score of nine to two.
00:53Turner was doing awesome before he got hurt and Mundo Sosa was filling in.
00:56They won't need him anymore.
00:57Now that they have Trey Turner.
00:59Meanwhile, how about the New York Mets?
01:00The Mets have won six straight games.
01:02They had the grimace, you know, the grimace from McDonald's throughout the first pitch.
01:07And since he did, they haven't lost.
01:09So they're using that as their motivation right now.
01:11They won last night, the final over Texas, by the way, good team, 14 to two was the final.
01:18And Francisco Lindor has come alive.
01:20Brandon Nimmo has come alive.
01:22And you know, naturally the Mets are probably an okay team.
01:25They're playing better now than maybe they did earlier in the season.
01:29But the bottom line is they have so many still good hitters in that lineup who were not playing
01:33to the back of their baseball card for the first two months.
01:35So it shouldn't be all that surprising.
