00:00and we'll see you next week.
00:03J Y, we just talked about Boston's odds for next year.
00:07Already a short NBA championship favorite last year
00:11entering this offseason. The Celtics were a preseason
00:15co-favorite alongside the Bucks. By the time we reached
00:18the NBA All-Star break the short solo favorite and a
00:22very short favorite at the start of the postseason, but
00:26oftentimes in life whether it's professional sports or
00:29you guys, you set expectations for something and it's
00:32hard to rise to the occasion. Boston all year long match
00:37that level of expectation. How did this year's Celtics team
00:41get it done? Simply put their their ability to defend and
00:46obviously the fact that they had a bunch of guys that were
00:49capable of going off. Let's be honest that the traits for
00:53Christophe Porzingis. I know he was hurt in the finals and
00:56the holiday. It was exactly what Boston needed. They needed
00:59a top-notch guard on in the backcourt and needed a rim
01:03protector at the center position. Also a rim protector
01:06can stretch the floor and shoot the ball from 30 feet also
01:09helps you out a little bit, but then they were by far and
01:12away the best team. Now, we can't sit here now and say
01:15well, you know this team had this guy hurt this guy had
01:18this team of that guy hurt. They went 4-1, 4-1, 4-0, 4-1.
01:24They dominated teams. They were the best team in the NBA.
01:27And I think what makes it interesting now is a team that
01:29is underachieved for so many years. They're relatively
01:33young. So now this could be been the start of the next
01:37great Dynasty in the NBA with the age of the core of this
01:42team, the coaching of Joe Mazzola and obviously Brad
01:46Stevens kind of, you know, finding the right players to
01:49fit around that core put the core guys.
