The J W Hunt Cup had its first charity golf day, raising money for the Beacon Centre for the Blind. It was held at the Mount Golf and Country Club in Perton.

for the JW Hunt Cup which is a great charity now in Wolverhampton. Great

turnout from the lads today we've got 36 golfers playing, some great prizes

donated from Meymore Golf and the impairment really appreciate that. Luke Manwaring

who's offered an hours lesson he's like a pro golf coach so it's great we're

hoping for a good day hope that the weather holds out for us and then

everybody enjoys it. So the Hunt Cup that's it's a football tournament is

that right? It is correct yeah. 98 years strong I believe. Yeah. And your dad and you

you organise this event and you raise money for good causes yeah? We do indeed

Well it's the first one. It's the first one to raise money for the Beacon Centre for the Blind.
