Excitement ahead of Taylor Swift's Edinburgh shows

On Friday morning we went along to Murrayfield Stadium as thousands of Taylor Swift fans arrived early ahead of the first of three record-breaking concerts the US pop star is performing in Edinburgh this weekend.

00:04to see Taylor Swift on her ERAS tour.

00:09I'm from Australia so I got three planes to get here. I've been to every one of her concerts in Sydney and I'm a super fan.

00:16I got some tickets to come here in Edinburgh and I wanted to see the Torture Police Department so here I am.

00:21Excited? Very excited?

00:23Very excited. I'm very excited. I've got a different outfit to wear tonight that's Torture Police Department themed

00:28so I'll get changed into that.

00:30I've come all the way from New York. I'm really looking forward to tonight and seeing Taylor Swift for the first time.

00:35Expensive trip?

00:37Some with cash, some with points. Tickets are cheaper than in the US though.

00:43We're very excited. We've been waiting for over a year.

00:50How long did it take to get here?

00:52We got up at 5am this morning.

00:57Straight from the airport.

00:59So are you going to go and get your merchandise, go back to the hotel and then come back for the concert?

01:03Yeah, we're going on Sundays. We're not going today.

01:36Yeah, we're in the queue already.

01:38One of our friends is actually there waiting for us.

01:41What time did you get in the queue this morning?

01:43Around 9am-10am.

01:45Was it busy already?

01:47A bit.

01:50We're closer now in the gates, but it's really good.

01:53Excellent. First time you've seen Taylor live?

01:56Yeah, it was my first time. It's a dream come true.

02:34No, we don't go in until about 3 o'clock.

02:41I joined the queue about 9 o'clock.

02:46She's number 68 in the queue.

02:48Oh, you get tagged, don't you?

02:53I come from Wales, and they've come from England.

03:09It's going to be a very long wait, but worth it.

03:12Not too many people right now, so I'm happy with the time we have right now.

03:17Yes, first ever one.

03:19So what are you most excited about seeing tonight?

03:23Oh, I want her to perform Gold Rush.

03:25Yeah, I want to see what the secret song is.

03:27And the opening act, Paramore.

03:30I am so excited.
