00:12On June 6, 1944, at the break of dawn, Allied forces began the largest amphibious operation
00:19in military history, opening a new front that significantly accelerated Adolf Hitler's fall.
00:28Joe Biden kicked off his visit by paying tribute to the fallen at the American cemetery of
00:34Colleville-sur-Mer.
00:35He is going to be joined by other world leaders, including U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak,
00:42as well as World War II veterans.
00:45Russia, also part of the Allied forces in the war, didn't get invited by host country
