The original show, FBoy Island, premiered in 2021 and featured three women dating 24 men on a tropical island with the hopes of determining which are the nice guys and which are the womanizers. The show initially aired on HBO but was canceled after only three seasons. The CW acquired the property and renewed it for a fourth season as FGirl Island, later changing the title to Lovers And Liars.
