00:32brought this breaking news to everybody yesterday when the contract extension

00:36came down and frankly we expected JJ to get his large payday at a certain point

00:41throughout this offseason more than likely during these summer months in

00:45here they are and the reaction that you have seen around the National Football

00:50League in the last 24 hours or so how do you feel about this contract extension

00:55for JJ I love it I think it's fantastic you take care of maybe the best wide

01:00receiver in football lock him up for years to come keep him happy heading

01:03into training camp and also the price of the brick goes up every single day and

01:07how do you know this is like a good contract and you know we always pull

01:10like different contracts that we seem like I can't believe this guy got this

01:13much money probably the most recent one I guess you could say where we all laugh

01:16that was Daniel Jones in the New York Giants you know getting 40 million

01:20dollars roughly per year when if he went on the free agent market I don't even

01:23know if you had got a contract offer from any other team that was funny but

01:26you saw these numbers for Justin Jefferson at a hundred ten million

01:29dollars guarantee and everybody goes yeah makes sense he's a really good

01:32player that's what he's deservedly so and also AJ Brown behind him 84 million

01:36st. Brown at 77 million I'm just bringing up two of those guys because of

01:40how much money more Justin Jefferson got in guarantees than those other guys are

01:45we saying he's so much better than AJ Brown or I'm in Ross st. Brown no we're

01:48not but even though he got that much more nobody's having a tough time with

01:51it because if you are considered the best player at your position and you

01:55break a record on salary compensation that's what's supposed to happen here so

01:59who knows who the next wide receiver is going to be but that is a high bar that

02:03has been sent now for a top light top flight wide receiver and everybody by

02:07rounding saying and including myself that's a good deal he's a good player
