00:40The Office of the Ombudsman orders the preventive suspension of Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo
00:45and two others for grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, gross neglect of duty, and conduct
00:51prejudicial to the best interest of the service.
00:53The complaint was filed by the Department of Interior and local government.
00:57The three are suspended without pay during the period of the probe until its completion,
01:02but will not exceed six months.
01:04The Ombudsman finds sufficient grounds to suspend the three because there is strong
01:08evidence of their guilt.
01:10It adds the complaints may warrant their removal from the service, and their continued stay
01:13in office may prejudice the investigation of the case filed against them.
01:18The DILG earlier said its complaint against Guo falls under the Anti-Graft and Corrupt
01:22Practices Act or Republic Act 3019, but the graft complaint was not mentioned in the Ombudsman's
01:28order that called for Guo's suspension.
01:32President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. welcomes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Malacanang
01:37on Monday, June 3, a historic meeting expected to catch the attention of Russia and China.

01:50your time, and it is a great pleasure to meet with you to discuss some of the issues
01:58that are common to our two countries.

02:11The meeting lasted only an hour, with Zelensky departing the Philippines by noon.
02:15Following the meeting, Zelensky thanked Marcos for confirming Manila's attendance at the
02:19Ukraine Peace Summit in Switzerland on June 15-16.
02:25Followers of fugitive preacher Apollo Kiboloy deny he is hiding in Kitbog, Malungon in Sarangani.
02:31Kitbog, located in the Sok Sarjan region, is seen as a potential hideout of Kiboloy,
02:35who is wanted for child abuse, sexual abuse of a minor, and human trafficking cases.
02:41Kathleen Lorente, a legal representative of Kiboloy's Kingdom of Jesus Christ, says
02:45they, quote, have no idea where he is.
02:48This despite a Malungon resident saying a black helicopter believed to be that of Kiboloy's
02:53hovered and landed in Kitbog on May 4, but no one could confirm whether Kiboloy was on
02:58board.
02:59Lorente says Kitbog has always been special to Kiboloy because it is where the pastor
03:03realized God's calling and where his preaching ministry began in the 1970s.
03:09Kiboloy continues to evade arrest orders issued by two regional trial courts, including another
03:13from the Senate.

03:45way for succeeding school years.
03:48It will not be subject to tax so teachers will be able to take home the allowance in
03:52full.
