Malaysia's national coaching director Rexy Mainaky says the Malaysia Masters does not have a strong field of players as many top men's doubles and mixed doubles pairs opted to skip the tournament.  He says the country's top pairs Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik an d Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei should have at least made it into the finals but they fell short in the semi-finals.
