Craig Mackinlay gets standing ovation as he returns to PMQs after losing four limbs

Conservative MP Craig Mackinlay will return to the House of Commons after he revealed both his hands and feet were amputated last year due to sepsis.

Mackinlay was diagnosed with the life-threatening condition and taken to hospital last September.

The MP for South Thanet was met with a rapturous applause by his colleagues in the House of Commons, with tributes paid by speaker of the House Linsay Hoyle and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
