Well Tom, a great day for the club and a lot of excitement around the Demon Camp.
00:06
Yeah, absolutely surreal experience out here today.
00:09
Come in half underdogs, seven or eight injuries, but yeah, came out to win on top.
00:14
And Ryan Waite, I mean, he's a pretty low key coach isn't he?
00:18
He's a matter of fact type of guy, but some real emotion after the game.
00:22
Yeah, got up and about. It's been a long time coming, very long time coming.
00:25
Yeah, been planning for ages, but all the boys stood up and it was good.
00:29
You said you've played against Gordon for the best part of a decade.
00:32
This is the first time you've faced success.
00:35
Yeah, unreal, absolutely unreal. Can't wait to get back to the boys and see what happens.
00:40
Okay, look, what was it like out there? It was a pretty close checking game.
00:43
Goals are hard to come by, particularly early and it was always going to be pretty hard contests.
00:49
Yeah, it was pretty hostile out there and it was contested footy in the first half.
00:53
Neither could get a real good look at the goals, but third quarter broke away and goals kept coming.
00:59
Yeah, managed to get those quick goals in a few patches that made all the difference.
01:03
And you yourself were on target?
01:06
Yeah, kicked three in the end. It was a good day.
01:09
So what does this mean to the club at this stage? It's only early in the season, a long way to go.
01:14
It is, early days.
01:15
But a win over the reigning Premier at any time is something special.
01:18
Yeah, we probably keep a lid on it at the moment, but just stay on track. It's what we're planning to do for the rest of the season.
