Trump Hush Money Trial Judge Slams Defense Witness for Muttering and Contemptuous Gazes

The judge in Donald Trump's criminal hush money trial blasted a defense witness, Robert Costello, for staring and muttering contemptuously at him during testimony. Costello is a former federal prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer who once advised Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer. Trump's defense team has begun calling their own witnesses, including Costello, to rebut the prosecution's allegations. Judge Juan Merchan warned Trump's lawyers he may strike Costello's testimony due to his disrespectful behavior towards the judge.
