Himalayan family gets own polling station, as India enters fifth round of voting

About 48% of Indian voters had cast ballots in Monday's fifth phase of the world's largest election, which began on April 19.

Election officials travelled seven hours, spent a night at a polling station and scrambled for electricity and internet connections to ensure five people in a remote Himalayan village could vote in national elections on Monday.
