My English teacher who inspired me with the Bible experienced persecution in China

When I was a child, our primary school recruited a foreign teacher as our English teacher. He would quote the Bible in class sometime. This is my first time coming into contact with the Bible. I feel scared because China is an atheist country. The Chinese Communist Party has condemned Christianity and Catholicism as cults, and the Bible as a cult book. Once discovered, it will be confiscated and they will burn countless Bibles.
This foreign teacher ordered a batch of Bibles and wanted to give one to each of our classmates. This batch of Bibles was seized by the customs. Later, China National Security Bureau conducted a background check on him and found that he was a foreign missionary. Then he was After being deported, all copies of the Bible in our students’ hands were confiscated and burned, and then our Chinese English teacher (for using Bible content in English classes with him) was brutally imprisoned. Later I learned: The CCP has been reforming Chinese missionaries, the CCP has arrested and tortured countless Christians.
