00:00 Support for Bersatu will continue to dwindle if the party remains with PAS.

00:06 This, according to Bersatu MP, Abdul Rashid Asari, is because the Islamic Party can be perceived as being too extreme.

00:14 Rashid, who now backs Selangor Menteri Besar, Amiruddin Shari, however, stressed that not all PAS members were extreme,

00:21 saying that only a handful of leaders espouse such views.

00:25 The Selat Kelang Assemblyman, who shared the stage with Pakatan Harapan leaders during the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election campaign,

00:32 also said that on a personal level, he distrusted PAS.

00:36 He said despite all its preaching on religion, the party could not even honour a simple agreement.

00:42 Rashid claimed that when PN was discussing seat allocations for the 15th General Election,

00:47 there was a written agreement that Bersatu would contest in KAPAR.

00:51 However, PAS staked its claim for the seat at the last minute.
