00:20 a huge return to music, but that has yet to be seen.
00:24 Spears herself responded to the rumors on Instagram, writing, "Just so we're clear,
00:28 most of the news is trash.
00:30 They keep saying I'm turning to random people to do a new album.
00:34 I will never return to the music industry.
00:36 I've written over 20 songs for other people the past two years.
00:40 I'm a ghostwriter and honestly I enjoy it that way."
00:43 However, in a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Charli confirmed
00:48 the rumors of a collab, sharing, "It leaked to the press.
00:52 Britney then did this post where she was like, 'I don't have random people write for me,'
00:56 and I was like, 'Oh, okay, go off.'
00:58 So I don't know that she was a part of the process.
