00:07 Sussex Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenager was stabbed

00:12 in West Sussex. Police have also arrested a 17 year old boy from Crawley on suspicion

00:17 of assisting an offender after a 15 year old was stabbed later around 11.20pm on Sunday

00:22 night. A 15 year old has been taken to hospital and is in a serious condition, police confirmed.

00:29 Southern Water has confirmed that thousands of customers currently remain without water

00:34 as water supply issues continue to its 5th day. Around 25,500 properties in St Leonard's

00:40 and Hastings which lost water supply after Thursday night's burst water main have now

00:45 had main supply restored, though they may experience reduced pressure for a time. Of

00:51 the remaining 7,000 properties affected, a significant number were expected to be back

00:55 on supply later on Bank Holiday Monday.

00:59 A road in West Sussex was closed on Monday May 6th following heavy flooding in the surrounding

01:03 area. Portsmouth Lane in Hayward Heath is partially blocked and was causing major delays

01:09 due to flooding. The news comes after the Met Office had issued a yellow weather warning

01:14 for flooding and thunderstorms across the south of England.

01:18 Police have confirmed that there will be increased police presence after a motorbike collided

01:22 with a pedestrian in Hastings. Police were called to a report of a motorbike colliding

01:27 with a pedestrian on Priory Road in the town. Police also confirmed that the road currently

01:33 remains closed following the incident.

01:36 In a statement, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said police were called to a report

01:40 of a motorbike colliding with a pedestrian on Priory Road, Hastings at around 1.10pm

01:44 on Sunday May 5th. The road remains closed at this time and increased police presence

01:49 is expected.
