00:21 and certainly put plenty of effort in but Leeds were cut above tonight in what weren't

00:27 ideal circumstances lost Rylan to a hamstring injury after just one minute of the game and

00:33 then Brodie Croft tightened up in his groin and went off after half an hour so Leeds had

00:38 to adjust but I thought they did a good job of it.

00:41 Lackey Miller had an excellent game tonight, one terrific break for Ash Hanley's try laid

00:49 Andy Ackers started on the bench today for the first time for Leeds with Jared O'Connor

00:53 at 9 and Ackers had a really good game as well I thought it brought something different

01:01 Jared O'Connor went well in the starting 9 position, a brave decision by Rowan Smith

01:06 who left Matt Froley out after a pretty poor performance last week against Hull FC and

01:13 Jackson Field came in for his first appearance of the season and did a really good job.

01:17 He got the home man of the match award, scored a try, was involved in a couple of others

01:21 and considering he's not played at this level since the final game of last season I thought

01:26 he went well and it's an encouraging sign for the future.

01:31 Leeds can play better and will need to play better but the win was the most important

01:36 thing today and they got that and they did it in a little bit of style, conceded a couple

01:42 of tries but defended pretty well overall and it will give them something to build on

01:46 for next week's very tough game at Catalan Dragons which is followed by another very

01:51 tough game at St Helens.

01:54 Big matches are coming but Leeds have two successive wins and are back to winning ways

01:58 at home and I think they can feel pretty pleased with that.
