Cattle Trading Motorbike Sales and Great Coffee at San Patong Saturday Morning Market

Cattle Trading Motorbike Sales and Great Coffee can all be found at San Patong Buffalo Market, the cattle market, the open air market & the largest outdoor market in Thailand. It is held every Saturday & is best experienced starting early, to ensure the best views of the farmers making livestock trades, watching people selling their their prized cattle and buying new animals. These scenes are real Thailand, rural life that has existed for hundreds of years and traditions that are practiced at this venue for at least 60 years. The San Patong Saturday Market has so many things to see, that my 2 hour visit only covered approximately half of the market stalls and I didn’t manage to see the opposite side of the 108 road (Chiang Mai to Chom Thong) as I became numb from seeing so many stalls within 2 hours. The location is easily accessible by road and the car park fee is just 20 baht. A very interesting place to visit on a Saturday morning.
