The LaBrant Fam morning routine 9 months pregnant with 4 kids
Transcript
00:00 Good morning! It's kind of blurry. I set my phone up over here to give us some light
00:06 because it's so dark in here but I have the two little ones in my bed right now.
00:11 It's about 730. Cole has a workout group three days a week. It's like a Bible
00:18 study workout group that he does in our garage gym so he's working out right
00:21 now but I want to show you guys just like a little morning routine. How it
00:26 usually goes is Zeeland usually comes in first. Hey Zeeman, say good morning.
00:34 Good morning! There's Posey. You say good morning Posey. But usually Zeeland gets up first and he comes in and
00:43 snuggles for a little bit and then Posey will trickle in and then they get real
00:47 hungry right guys? You guys hungry for breakfast? You hungry? What do you guys want for food?
00:52 Oh, Everly's awake too. Everly woke up. Everyone's up a little bit earlier than usual.
01:01 Usually this isn't the normal case. We trickle in a little bit later but...
01:08 Alright, well we'll go make some breakfast. Show you guys what our usual
01:12 morning routine looks like while Cole gets his workout in. We'll make
01:17 some breakfast and then he'll get done around 830 and he'll come join us for a
01:21 little bit in the morning. So show you guys a little bit of homeschool and just
01:24 what our usual morning looks like.
01:35 Gonna get the four plates out. Rip up all their waffles. I found the waffles. I'm gonna put some maple syrup on their waffles. I wanna sit next to Sunday. You wanna sit next to Sunday? Yeah, very soon.
02:02 Usually everybody wants to sit next to Sunday. Okay, so now I'm gonna feed my
02:07 bunnies. Okay, so this is their cage. Like, it's like cute. I was gonna want a
02:16 bunny house but that was just too complicated and we did not want to set
02:19 it up. So this is Baezy. That one's pretty much mine and then that one's
02:24 Posey's and then I think they all share Posey's but I'm not really too sure.
02:28 But we share both of them and I definitely need to clean out their
02:33 little thing because I haven't cleaned it out in a bit. You're supposed to clean
02:38 it out every like four, three, five days. It just depends how much poop it gets in it. But that's it right now.
02:47 But like I don't even know why I just showed you all that. That is disgusting.
02:51 Okay, so we give them like this hay in the side of their litter box because
02:56 then they actually go in their litter box because they want the hay. And then
03:01 this is their food. It's just like called like pellets. And then this is their
03:10 bedding and it's like cute and it's like soft and like aesthetic.
03:15 Believe it or not, I actually cleaned this out yesterday. These bunnies just pooped.
03:18 Wait, you just cleaned that out yesterday? I said we cleaned that out like four days ago.
03:23 No, I cleaned that out yesterday. Oh, well she cleaned that out yesterday.
03:27 Little bunnies. They're so cute. Maybe they were just sitting in it, nothing else.
03:32 Maybe they were just pooping all day yesterday.
03:34 They've seen my son again a while. He's pretty big. Hello.
03:38 Come out any day now. You want to come show them the breakfast that I'm making? Yeah.
03:43 Two more. One more.
03:50 One more.
03:52 Okay, breakfast is served.
03:57 Whoa. If you're hungry say, "Me, me, me, me, me, me."
04:02 Me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
04:04 Sunday is still sleeping. Usually she's awake by now, but she kind of had a rough
04:10 night last night, so she might sleep in a little bit longer.
04:13 Okay, Z's my little coffee helper, so he's going to press all the buttons and help me make my coffee.
04:17 Are you ready? Press this one first.
04:20 Good job.
04:23 We got to put this in here.
04:25 Good job.
04:31 It's going. Is it going? Yeah. Is it working? Yeah.
04:35 Oh, I'm so excited to drink my coffee.
04:38 You make the best coffee, Zeland. You make the best coffee.
04:46 Okay, that's good. That's good.
04:48 It's kind of sad with Sunday missing. I almost want to go wake her up so she can join the party.
04:53 Get it, Everly. Get it.
04:57 It is fast.
05:02 I'm going to try to trap this. I don't even know what it is. Is it like a mosquito eater?
05:06 It's not a moth.
05:10 Come on, Everly. You got it.
05:15 Oh, she got it.
05:17 She trapped it.
05:19 You want to let it outside? It would be so nice.
05:22 Here, slide it, and then we can let it free outside.
05:25 Bye-bye. Where did it go? Outside.
05:27 He's on the doorstep. Say bye-bye.
05:29 Good work, kids. Live your life.
05:31 Alright, Posy is cleaning up her food like a good girl.
05:37 Alright, we're starting on school. Everly's starting on some math.
05:40 Posy's working on some math.
05:42 Zeland's tracing his name. We'll show you how Zeland just learned how to write his name, too.
05:46 He's doing such a good job.
05:48 So here we're going to circle all the numbers that are less than six.
05:52 Which ones are less than six?
05:54 One.
05:56 Z is doing his name all by himself. I wrote this one up here and he's just copying it.
06:00 Z.
06:02 E.
06:04 Good job, buddy. Now you're A.
06:07 Oh, and I think Sunday's awake.
06:09 Everly loves getting her.
06:11 Hi, baby.
06:13 Hi, baby.
06:15 Good morning.
06:17 Do you want to see yourself on here?
06:21 Who's that?
06:23 Sunny.
06:25 Who is that?
06:27 Sunday.
06:29 What's your name?
06:31 Everly. Yeah, what's your name?
06:33 Sunday.
06:35 You're so cute.
06:37 Good morning.
06:39 You want to come join us? I made you some breakfast.
06:41 Breakfast.
06:43 You want breakfast? Yeah.
06:45 You want some waffles? Yeah.
06:47 Good morning, Sunday.
06:49 Six.
06:51 Okay, so the girls have their co-op, which we just use the curriculum from their co-op.
06:55 On the days that they don't go, which is three days a week.
06:59 But I also add in all my own stuff, too.
07:03 Just for some extra stuff.
07:05 Lots of meet the phonics for Posey.
07:07 And Zeland's even starting on it.
07:09 I found these like human body workbooks.
07:13 Science.
07:15 That I just do with them for science at the house.
07:17 Then we add in some preschool math for them.
07:21 What else do we do, Posey? We do some sight words.
07:23 Yeah.
07:25 Everly is over here working on her math.
07:27 And Everly does a very good job at being independent.
07:31 And she just kind of asks me when she needs my help.
07:33 And I'm here.
07:35 Can I show them what I'm working on?
07:37 Good job. Yeah, you can.
07:39 From his workout.
07:41 She's got to know my workout.
07:43 Posey, you're the vlogger today? Yes.
07:45 Yeah? And Zeland is writing on his threes.
07:47 Because he's three.
07:49 It says, "How old are you?"
07:51 Yeah, because he has the three papers.
07:53 Okay.
07:55 I do my men's workout every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
07:59 Some guys, some fellowship, some workout.
08:01 So I just got down here to film it.
08:03 Because you guys don't care about that. That's boring.
08:05 Hi, Sandy. Can you say hi?
08:07 That's easy with this.
08:09 Big.
08:17 Like a new baby.
08:19 We're getting a new baby.
08:21 We're getting a new baby.
08:23 Good work.
08:25 Good job.
08:27 Zeland, are you doing your own threes over there?
08:29 So this is what a typical homeschool morning looks like.
08:31 Breakfast and homeschool at the kitchen table.
08:35 And then I'll walk over here and make my protein shake.
08:37 Again, I'm not going to film that because y'all don't care.
08:39 Savannah does such a great job teaching the kids.
08:41 There is a tutor that comes in two days a week, I think.
08:43 Savannah maybe has already said that.
08:45 She'll correct you guys on that.
08:47 And the only thing that I'll do homeschool wise is I'll help
08:49 Everly or some of the kids with their math.
08:51 Savannah's not the best at math and I kind of like math.
08:53 So Everly's math is starting to get a little bit tougher.
08:55 She's heading into sixth grade.
08:57 So that's the only thing that I'll usually help with.
08:59 And then sometimes I'll either stay and take some of the younger kids,
09:03 like Sunday and Zeland, wherever they get done,
09:05 so that Savannah can really focus on Everly.
09:07 Or I'll head out, get some work done,
09:09 and usually by that point the kids already know what they're doing
09:11 and they got it.
09:13 Now? Now. Good job.
09:15 Can. Can.
09:17 Have fun.
09:19 Good. Have fun.
09:21 Good.
09:23 Since your heart is a muscle, did you guys know your heart's a muscle?
09:25 Your heart's a muscle.
09:27 It needs to stay strong so you can help it by staying active and eating healthy foods.
09:31 So if I don't have too much to do,
09:33 I'll play with Sunday while I do it.
09:35 Maybe the kitty cat or the doggy?
09:37 Which one could Daddy be?
09:39 Kitty cat.
09:41 Yeah.
09:43 I'll play with Sunday so that she doesn't distract the homeschoolers.
09:45 Meow.
09:47 Hi doggy.
09:49 Meow meow.
09:51 Hi. What's your name?
09:53 Arf arf arf.
09:55 This one says meow.
09:57 Can I eat some?
09:59 Mmm. I love it. So good.
10:01 Want to do it again?
10:03 Yeah. Ready? Let's sing the song.
10:05 I love Sunday.
10:07 I love Sunday.
10:09 Yes I do.
10:11 Yes I do.
10:13 I love Sunday.
10:15 I love Sunday.
10:17 Yes I do.
10:19 Yes I do.
10:21 I love you.
10:23 Here's our messy bed. I'm about to wrestle the kids on.
10:25 As you guys can see, we already have some of the baby stuff.
10:27 Not neatly organized.
10:29 But it is in place because baby could be here any day.
10:31 Any day now.
10:33 It's kind of scary.
10:35 It's kind of scary.
10:37 Five kids, that's a lot of kids.
10:39 I'm not shying away from the fact that five kids is a lot of kids.
10:41 And I'm a little intimidated.
10:43 But we'll do this, right?
10:45 Should we go wrestle?
10:47 So Zela's favorite thing to do is wrestle.
10:49 Three, two, one.
10:51 Go.
10:53 Hey guys, so it is Wednesday.
10:55 And on Wednesdays, we try to do a morning family Bible study.
10:57 And we've actually gone through pretty much this entire book at this point.
10:59 So right now what I'm doing is I'm doing a refresher for the kids.
11:01 Because obviously after you learn some bunch of stories, you kind of forget the beginning stories.
11:03 So we're going to go from the very beginning.
11:05 Who created the entire world?
11:07 Jesus.
11:09 Good job.
11:11 Yes, Jesus and God.
11:13 And how many, while we're on the topic, how many gods are there?
11:15 Five.
11:17 And while we're on the topic, how many gods are there?
11:19 Three.
11:21 Father, a son, and the Holy Spirit.
11:23 That's right.
11:25 So there's one God, but it's three people.
11:27 Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.
11:29 One God, three people.
11:31 That's right.
11:33 Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.
11:35 In earth, that's where we live.
11:37 Five angels.
11:39 I guarantee there's five angels.
11:41 Good job, buddy.
11:43 And in the Garden of Eden, God made two people.
11:45 Adam and Eve.
11:47 That's right.
11:49 And God said,
11:51 "Yes, so we call the devil the sneaky snake."
11:53 Right?
11:55 That's poison.
11:57 They're poison apples.
11:59 Do we want to listen to God or the sneaky snake?
12:01 God.
12:03 Are we on God's team or the sneaky snake's team?
12:05 God's team.
12:07 Do we live God's way or our own way?
12:09 God's way.
12:11 Good job, Posey.
12:13 What happened?
12:15 He died.
12:17 God said, "If you eat this fruit, you will surely die."
12:19 And they ate the fruit, and because of that,
12:21 they did not die immediately, but they did.
12:23 Because they awakened sin.
12:25 Sin was awakened,
12:27 and sin leads to death.
12:29 We all sin, and we all will die.
12:31 This is one of my favorite walls in our house.
12:35 On the stairs, we did this photo shoot
12:37 right whenever we moved here.
12:39 We'll have to do another one soon with Baby Five.
12:41 A little Sunday,
12:43 making our way up the stairs.
12:45 She's growing up so fast.
12:47 You had to.
12:49 Now we're going to get the kiddos ready.
12:51 Usually, Cole's filming,
12:53 because this would be probably pretty hard for me to film.
12:55 Usually, Cole would probably head out right about now
12:57 and go get some work stuff done.
12:59 I'll get all the kids ready,
13:01 get myself ready, and we usually go do something fun.
13:03 Everleigh is actually...
13:05 I scared her.
13:07 Everleigh has a Zoom dance private
13:09 this morning, so she's getting ready
13:11 for a dance private.
13:13 She'll do that.
13:15 I'm so out of breath, you guys. It's ridiculous.
13:17 This baby needs to come because I'm just like...
13:19 so pregnant.
13:21 Okay, Z, what do you want to wear, buddy?
13:23 Alright, let's put that one on, okay?
13:25 You're a big boy. You can do it by yourself, yeah?
13:27 And then, Sunday.
13:29 Everleigh gets herself ready, so I don't need to
13:31 get Everleigh. It's kind of nice.
13:33 Yeah. Guys, Sunday has recently been
13:35 obsessed with me. Babe, would you say Sunday
13:37 currently... Yeah, Sunday is obsessed with that right now.
13:39 She's like a daddy's girl, so if it seems
13:41 like I'm holding her a little bit more than the other kiddos
13:43 or whatever, it's just because she is the kid that
13:45 currently wants me to.
13:47 So right now, she wants me to read her a kitty cat book.
13:50 Should we read a kitty cat book?
13:52 Look at that fit. Let's go, boy.
13:54 Let's go. He always puts his hat on backwards.
13:56 What a stud. Let's go.
13:58 Guys, check out this alligator head that Zola found in the creek.
14:00 Isn't that crazy? That is Tennessee living for ya.
14:04 And mom is doing Posey's
14:06 hair. So beautiful.
14:08 This goes crazy.
14:10 (Zola screaming)
14:12 (Zola screaming)
14:14 Sunday, you're crazy.
14:16 (Zola screaming)
14:18 (Zola screaming)
14:20 (Zola screaming)
14:22 Have what? A tennis ball?
14:24 I think we need tennis balls to stretch.
14:26 Is she doing tennis? I don't know.
14:28 She comes out of her room and stretches.
14:30 Mom, we have tennis balls, right?
14:32 I'm trying to think of what you would do.
14:34 What do you need a baseball for?
14:36 (Zola laughing)
14:38 Sure. Yeah, you can have it.
14:40 So, now it's mom's turn to get ready.
14:42 So,
14:44 some mornings I'll stick them in the back so I can
14:46 get my makeup on and get ready
14:48 and stuff, but since Cole's here,
14:50 they're just hanging.
14:52 Cole's filming.
14:54 I'm filming, in case you guys are wondering.
14:56 I'll get ready a little bit,
14:58 and then we'll just kind of go off on our day,
15:00 right guys? Yeah.
15:02 Some days we drop everybody off at like
15:04 the ex-private, but this morning she's doing it upstairs
15:06 on the laptop.
15:08 Oh, and some days we put in hair ties on her
15:10 arms and legs and toes.
15:12 Something to be very cautious
15:14 about, parents. These little hair ties,
15:16 we literally have to check her before naps
15:18 and bedtimes now because she sticks them
15:20 on her fingers and you can't see them because they're clear.
15:22 And it can be very dangerous.
15:24 She's crazy.
15:26 Say, "Lip, lip,
15:28 gloss."
15:30 Can you say that?
15:32 Lip, lip, gloss.
15:34 Cindy loves lip gloss.
15:36 Can you do that?
15:40 Josie, I never saw the finished product
15:44 of your hair. Wow, good job, Mama.
15:46 I was just saying that I need to learn how to braid.
15:50 I can do ponytails
15:52 and buns, but I can't do any braids.
15:54 And I feel bad because having three daughters, I should know
15:56 how to do this. So, I'm going to try and learn.
15:58 Sunday, oh my goodness, can I see
16:00 your hair? I love this.
16:02 Sunny, look at yourself.
16:04 Look how pretty those pigtails are. Oh, and you tried
16:06 your dress. So cool.
16:08 We kind of didn't do too much of your makeup routine, huh?
16:10 Oh, that's okay.
16:12 This is more of like
16:14 my chill, everyday makeup.
16:16 Beautiful.
16:18 But I could do like a real makeup routine
16:20 someday. Someday.
16:22 Beautiful. Thank you, Hank.
16:24 Savannah's very minimal on
16:26 makeup and
16:28 just life, which I love you.
16:30 It's a good thing, I think. Thanks.
16:32 But it's also a good thing if you like doing a lot
16:34 of makeup. That's totally fine, too.
16:36 I am not
16:38 like
16:40 like I've had like the same makeup
16:42 stuff since I was like
16:44 16 or 17. I feel like I
16:46 don't switch up my makeup routine.
16:48 A lot of people switch up their makeup routine.
16:50 And I just, I just like
16:52 keeping it the same. Hey, why fix something
16:54 that's not broken, right?
16:56 Yeah, but some people just think it's fun.
16:58 That like sounds stressful to me.
17:00 Well, you have a fifth kid on the way.
17:02 That's true. It's really fast.
17:04 Like that. It's gotta be fast because there's a lot of kids.
17:06 That was for all eight minutes, probably.
17:08 As a husband, I can vouch
17:10 that was under ten minutes for sure.
17:12 Probably that five minute range.
17:14 And then depending on what I'm doing,
17:16 I know that this isn't my morning routine and you guys don't care.
17:18 Usually I'll try to dress for success
17:20 and I'll put on like a nicer shirt, some nicer
17:22 pants just like my lounge wear.
17:24 But brush my teeth, maybe shave the
17:26 creepy stache. When we were doing like
17:28 family vlogging a lot more,
17:30 you were home like all the time.
17:32 Yeah. Basically. He was like full time
17:34 dad mode. He was basically like, it was like having
17:36 two moms at the house. Yep. But now
17:38 I have pushed him
17:40 Literally. Into the world.
17:42 Of, you know,
17:44 leaving the house in the mornings.
17:46 We have. We have. Getting out and getting
17:48 stuff done. Yes. And it's great.
17:50 I'm sure you guys are like. There's a lot of business stuff he's been working on
17:52 which I'm so proud of him. Yeah. I'm sure you guys are like, what are we getting
17:54 done? We're hoping to announce it pretty soon.
17:56 We have three really cool
17:58 unique business opportunities
18:00 that we just think we could leverage
18:02 this following
18:04 that we built over the years of
18:06 what we feel is very like minded people.
18:08 Stuff that we're super passionate about. So it's just
18:10 It's not. Pretty exciting. Yeah.
18:12 It's not like to make money but it's actually to make a difference.
18:14 Yeah. And if it does make money then we can leverage that money
18:16 to help make a difference. So
18:18 we're really excited about it and
18:20 we'll share it soon because it's not quite
18:22 there but it's almost there. So if you're like
18:24 what are you getting out of the house to do?
18:26 We'll hopefully announce that very soon. So
18:28 with all that said, he's been
18:30 getting out more. Getting stuff done with business
18:32 You know, he just does all the big boy
18:34 stuff now which is awesome. Taxes.
18:36 Taxes. I love taxes. Car registration.
18:38 Bills. Registering cars.
18:40 Everything with the house and the land that we just bought.
18:42 House, land stuff. That took forever. Yeah.
18:44 That was a lot of work. But that's done.
18:46 That's actually freed up some time. Yeah.
18:48 But now as I'm more
18:50 full time mom in it
18:52 which I love. I don't, you know
18:54 She's always wanted this in the first place.
18:56 And not that I ever
18:58 resented that he was always there but
19:00 sometimes I was like
19:02 I just kind of want to be a mom by myself.
19:04 Which is funny because a lot
19:06 of people would be like, well that's crazy. I'd love
19:08 to have a husband with some money.
19:10 I still try to sneak home as much as I can.
19:12 Yeah. But I try
19:14 to keep him out.
19:16 I tell him it's healthy to be out
19:18 from like 9 to 2
19:20 at least. I love being home more than anything
19:22 and I know that this season with the little kids
19:24 is the most important thing. But then it's also nice
19:26 because if there's something that comes up or something
19:28 he can come in a heartbeat.
19:30 You guys are going there. I want to go.
19:32 That sounds fun.
19:34 And it's a healthy balance because I want my kids to
19:36 not to see that dad was always home just
19:38 with them because I think work is important.
19:40 So trying to figure out what that looks like
19:42 we're in this unique space to where
19:44 we get to choose what
19:46 that looks like.
19:48 But we think we have something really cool.
19:50 Three really cool things.
19:52 Yeah we're excited. It'll be fun.
19:54 Because this is very likely
19:56 the last video before baby comes.
19:58 This is Savannah. This is also the last time
20:00 that they'll see me pregnant.
20:02 Well besides our first video.
20:04 Yeah that's true. But here's Savannah
20:06 casually in the house
20:08 9 months fully pregnant with baby
20:10 5. How does that feel?
20:12 How does this feel? It feels a little sad.
20:14 Does it? Like you have done a good job.
20:16 I mean you have been pregnant
20:18 5 times.
20:20 You've birthed 5 children. Well you're about to.
20:22 3 of which
20:24 are just casually here.
20:26 One upstairs. I feel like I'm going to be really sad
20:28 at the hospital. Yeah.
20:30 Like knowing that this is probably our last baby.
20:32 Yeah. You know if we
20:34 have 6 I'll probably be through adoption.
20:36 This is like
20:38 very likely your last pregnancy.
20:40 But our plan is for this to be
20:42 my last pregnancy.
20:44 We joke. We joke that
20:46 if
20:48 real talk I might be getting a
20:50 vasectomy. I don't know. Yeah he might be.
20:52 That's big kid talk. I'm just done being pregnant.
20:54 I actually am. Like I know I'm going to get
20:56 baby fever again in a year.
20:58 But then I just think
21:00 I've always wanted to adopt since I was a little girl.
21:02 So if we really
21:04 think that that's
21:06 1 of 6 then it'll be through
21:08 adoption and I'm just done being pregnant because it's just
21:10 been a lot of pregnancies. So. Yes.
21:12 My belly can't take much more.
21:14 And we joke that if somehow
21:16 we accidentally got pregnant in the next year we just
21:18 would not tell anybody. So you guys won't know.
21:20 And one day. And there would just be like a 6
21:22 schedule. Is there another kid? A random video.
21:24 Yeah like in like a year or two. Like who's
21:26 that other one? I thought. Which is I know
21:28 a lot of y'all like you guys already are now. It's like wait a second. There's another
21:30 one? Whoa. So
21:32 it just kind of went that night.
21:34 So to end the morning. Mom has taken
21:36 all the kids out to a fun park
21:38 to play because it's a beautiful day.
21:40 And I'm going to stay home and literally edit this
21:42 video for you guys to watch.
