Parda: The Cut | Trailer Hindi Short Film

Parda is a hindi short film about a young girl who had no freedom from oppression. As a ritual, the clitoris of five or six year old girls is cut off without anesthesia. The same thing happened with Amayara. It had a profound effect on her mind. Today, as a woman the shock is even greater; she keeps getting distracted and restless in the moments of intimacy, her frustration is not only physical but mental also. Her boyfriend Akshar helps her to get out of this shock and live a normal life. This short film comments on her dilemma of what to choose : this narrow world of religion and unfair customs of society or a free and happy life with Akshar ???
