In October 2020, an Indian defense publication reported through a Chinese claim that India had fourteen thousand BrahMos missiles.
In March 2023, the Navy had ordered two hundred BrahMos missiles in a deal worth two point five billion dollars, while the Indian Air Force had ordered two hundred BrahMos missiles in March 2012 at a price of one billion dollars. The army is reportedly equipped with five regiments of BrahMos, which has over three hundred missiles.
