At least 28 people were arrested after protests on Emory University's campus in Atlanta on Thursday. Protesters set up encampments on campus in response to the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict. Police from Emory, Atlanta, and the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene. Protesters threw bottles at police and refused orders to leave the private property. Police deployed tear gas and pepper balls to disperse the crowd after multiple warnings. Twenty of those arrested were Emory community members, with some released.
