The flowers and foliage of spring are a reminder of new life. As Caroline Fischer reminds us, they also call us back to the resurrection of Christ from the dead and make Easter more joyful.

00:15 spring usually coincide. Easter celebrates the resurrection of Christ and springtime just

00:20 reminds us of new life as well. The bare branches start to bud, the grass starts growing again,

00:26 and flowers are blooming and blossoming. I love going for long walks and doing mental prayer,

00:31 praying the rosary, and just soaking up all the flowers around me, looking at all the new flowers

00:35 blooming, getting bouquets at the weekend farmer's market. I even just love making my own arrangement

00:41 at home from just greenery in my backyard. Flowers are just truly such a good way to

00:45 remember Christ's resurrection and the promise to us of new life.
