00:00I'll tell you, the first three quarters wasn't a whole lot to be excited about, in my opinion.
00:05You know, I thought the fourth quarter, I thought Stick came in and did a good job,
00:10the way he led the guys down the field, the way they competed.
00:12Defense, for the most part, they played.
00:15I think they scored once, but the second team defense, I thought they played well.
00:19Special teams contributed a little bit.
00:21I like the way they finished.
00:22It's a resilient group, and that's what you expect to see, no quit in this team.
00:26But I wasn't excited the first three quarters, especially the fourth and ones.
00:31You know, it's the third time I've put us in that situation,
00:34and I expect us to get the job done, and we did not get that done.
00:38What's going on in the fourth and ones situation?
00:41Lack of execution?
00:43Well, I'm going to watch the tape before I, you know,
00:46decide if there's a lack of execution tonight.
00:49But it certainly has been that in the past.
00:52And then you guys gave them 185.
00:56You know, when you have those quarterbacks that can move around
00:59like Seattle quarterbacks can, you cannot lose contain.
01:02And that's one of the things we did not do very well in the first half,
01:05was contain their quarterbacks.
01:07What about tackling?
01:10Tackling was just okay for me.

01:14There were a couple of plays in the first half,
01:18when you said the students got open.

01:23You know, I thought Rayshon Jenkins, first of all,
01:26I thought he made a heck of a play coming out of the middle of the field
01:28knocking that ball down.
01:29Almost had an opportunity to intercept it.
01:32Later on, Desmond, I think he just misjudged the ball a bit.
01:35He was looking back at the ball and lost track of the man.
01:38But that's how that explosive play happened.
01:40But they had a couple.
01:42I mean, they had a couple of nice schemes.
01:43They came out the back door.
01:45They like to get the quarterbacks out of the pocket.
01:47Pursue them one way and throw it across the field.

01:52But I thought Rayshon Jenkins did a pretty good job.

02:16It was good to see Stick go in the game and move the ball down the field.

02:24This week, I put him in the same situation.
02:27He took it down the field and scored.
02:29I did not want to use those timeouts at the end,
02:31but I wanted to see this young man get the ball back.
02:35And I have a lot of confidence that he can move the ball down the field
02:40like he did.
02:41It was a fourth and ten situation and he also converted that.
02:44So that was our first guy to have it.
02:46What was your first impression of him?
02:52I don't know how he played, to be honest with you right now.

02:55But he finished the game okay.

03:03But, you know, he's a guy that can line up

03:07His versatility is really important to our defense.
03:09And it's good to see him back on the football field.

03:30there was another one in the middle of the field.
03:32And then we slipped at the end of the game on the in-breaking routes.
03:35But that was a nice throw as well.
03:38I like the way he stayed in the pocket and the pressure came at him.
03:41And he delivered the mail down the field.
03:48They're competing now.
