00:00Just to start off, why are you launching the Curry brand right now?
00:04Why make this move at this moment?
00:07I know there's a lot going on in our world and our society,
00:10in the sports world and elsewhere,
00:13but this is something we've been thinking about for a very long time,
00:17trying to put the pieces together to understand where we, as a brand,
00:22can make the most impact.
00:25I think where we have the most resources and the most access
00:29to be able to impact kids, create safe spaces to play,
00:33support programming, support coaches and leaders
00:37that are impacting our kids.
00:40COVID's taken a lot of that opportunity away
00:43and it's highlighted some of the disparities,
00:47especially around different parts of the country.
00:49We're starting here in Oakland with it and hopefully can branch out over time,
00:53but we're doing what we know best in terms of how play and sports
00:58can teach us so much about ourselves and give kids something to look forward to.
01:03And I think, again, we play our role.
01:08I think that's the biggest thing right now
01:10with how we want to live out our purpose with our brand.
