00:04Some farmers are thankful, especially for the plants

00:08that bear fruit because of the beautiful sunlight.

00:17Kuya Kim, in the year of celebration of Sumilang Festival here in Silang, Cavite,

00:21the farmers gave their harvests.

00:25Let's take a look at their bonsai exhibit and the winners of their biggest harvest.

00:33In Silang, Cavite, six fruits and vegetables grow.

00:37Like pineapple, which weighs 7 kilos.

00:40Gavi, which weighs 24 kilos.

00:43Eggplant, which is 35 centimeters long.

00:45And cassava, which weighs 17.5 kilos.

00:49These are the winners of the biggest harvest in their Sumilang Festival.

00:52I'm happy and proud of the Lord because I didn't expect that there will be a contest again.

00:59It's a blessing that we won again.

01:02Silang Cacao Growers Association was made as the most outstanding farmer association of the province.

01:08This is due to the continuous strengthening of the cacao industry in their town,

01:13where they produce different products.

01:16It's been five years since we started.

01:18This is the year that proves that the cacao here in Silang has a good direction and is progressive,

01:26especially for the cacao farmers.

01:29There is also a bonsai exhibit that is part of the celebration.

01:32The Sumilang Festival is a way of thanking the farmers for their harvests.

01:37The farmers were also given a small business opportunity

01:41to sell their vegetables and products in a trade fair.
