Cash On Delivery is a 1992 love erotic drama directed by Terry Tong Gei-Ming (唐基明). Main roles are Simon Yam Tat-wah (任達華), Veronica Yip Yuk-hing (葉玉卿) and Sandra Ng Kwan-yue (吳君如). Support roles are Michael Chow Man-kin (周文健) and Ho Ying-wai (何英偉).
The story is about the tragic love between an Assistant Public Prosecutor Sandy Koh (Sandra) and a retired gigolo Simon Yip (Simon). Simon's cousin, Valentino (Michael) has newly joined the gigolo trade. However, Valentino got into trouble and a lawsuit was brought up against him. Simon desperately hoped to help Valentino, encountered Sandy in court and took the witness stand to testify. Eventually, they fall in love with each other and triggering off a series of emotional conflict.
Wealthy couple Mr. Raymond Lau (潘震偉 Poon) and Mrs. Lau Chan Wing Mui (Veronica), bearing no child for the Lau's family. Raymond, being the only son of the family, is supposed to continue the "Lau's" name with his child, who, if being born, will inherit a fortune from his father. So, they conspired to cheat the family by hiring a gigolo to have sex with Mrs. Lau.
Out of all candidates, they chose Simon. On the side, Sandy's superior, Lam Sze Fat (林聰 Lam Chung), is pressuring Sandy to launch the anti-gigolo raids. However, Sandy was madly in love with Simon, warned him of all the raids. Her superior later found out and fired her. In the meantime, Simon's deal with Mrs. Lau is completed. Full of regrets, Simon felt he owed a lot to Sandy and tried to keep the relationship as a compensation.
