00:00We'll go ahead, Coach Collins if you'd like to start out with a statement before we take

00:07questions.

00:08I appreciate you guys coming out, great event, having the guys out here and you guys get

00:12to mingle with them.

00:13I don't know if we've been able to do that on these days the last couple of years, so

00:17really good to get the guys here and let you guys mingle with them one on one as well.

00:21I appreciate you guys coming out last night for the first night.

00:25Really good work and one of my favorite things about this group and you guys got to be around

00:30them today is the attitude, the demeanor, they've got an edge, they've got a chip on

00:37their shoulder and we just got to continue to do that throughout preseason camp.

00:44Coach Lou, talked to him, my head strength coach talked to him last night, talked about

00:48the gains, the development, the new guys that we've brought in and now just excited for

00:54the preseason camp, for all of those gains, all that development, all the work to pay

00:58off and play really good random football to make everybody in the organization proud,

01:03all the fan base proud and just really like the chip on their shoulder that they have

01:09right now and continue to grow and develop and execute at a high level.

01:15Rob, we'll start right here.

01:18You had an early spring practice and you talked about you've had a lot of offseason cutouts

01:24and how did that affect the players, have you seen a difference from the players, knowing

01:30they had that long period of time off?

01:33The best part and the way we had structured it was to do the install, was to go through

01:38spring practices, then be able to go back through that six week period after spring

01:42ball to exams, then revisit it with the new rules that we were able to be out there with

01:48them this summer.

01:49We were able to have football school with them where we could actually meet with the

01:52guys throughout the summer and I hope that was very beneficial.

01:56You saw it on day one of preseason camp, the install, it's now probably the third time

02:02that they've gone through the installs and the communication, the crispness, the execution,

02:09for the most part we're ahead of where we would have been without those kind of things.

02:14So we really appreciate the guys, how they embraced it, how they took advantage of it

02:19and then came out here last night and executed pretty well and now we just got to continue

02:24to do that.

02:25Coach, you just touched on it a little bit, time is usually a premium for a coach, but

02:32using that luxury, how much does it benefit you guys with all of the new faces you have,

02:37not only player wise, but the coaches as well?

02:39It's huge.
