00:00So with practice starting yesterday, just kind of what's the mood with the team and
00:04the defense going forward into this year?
00:07And then just kind of what have you been personally working on this offseason to
00:11get better?
00:11It's the same thing for the defense, just effort, making plays,
00:15get takeaways, basically what I've been working on myself personally,
00:18like finishing plays, I left a lot of plays on the field last year.
00:21So I feel like that kind of hurt the team, so
00:23me making more plays on the field is only gonna help the team.
00:27So Coach Collins has been said to be a little bit more hands-on with the defense
00:31this year, how has he been with that with the defensive line?
00:34Do you notice a lot more now?
00:36Yeah, definitely, definitely, you know how sometimes as a head coach you gotta be in
00:41all the drills and type stuff, so sometimes he'll come up to the defensive line drills.
00:44It's definitely his presence, it definitely shows us that he kind of cares
00:48about the D line, he's in more unit meetings now, so his presence definitely.
00:54Have y'all done a lot of schematic changes from last year?
00:57Are y'all doing a lot of things differently, or
00:58are you just trying to get better at the things that didn't go well last year?
01:01Yeah, basically just fine-tuning the things that didn't work last year.
01:04Didn't win not too many big changes to the defense,
01:07not just really getting small quirks and screws, things that didn't work last year.
01:11Okay.
