because we want to have attention on the negative impacts of stress in our lives

because managing stress is very essential for a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Ogneña, how do we know if a person or a person we know is stressed?

What are the symptoms that indicate that we are stressed?

The symptoms of stress are headaches, chest pain, or body aches.

You find it hard to concentrate on what you're doing.

You become forgetful and get angry easily.

Sometimes, you sweat on your hands or your armpits. You always seem tired and sick.

Sometimes, you get constipation or chest pain.

Some of our patients have low libido.

Alright, Doc. I remember we had this in survey way back in 2017 about stress management.

You mentioned there are two kinds of stress.

We have the good stress and the bad stress.

On both stresses, there are symptoms of stress.

We want to know, Doc, what are the two kinds of stress and why do we acquire these kinds of stress?

Fifi, we have the good and bad stress.

Our brain can sense when we are stressed or when we are facing danger.

Let's say, we are about to have a dog bite us or we have an unfinished deadline.

We have a physiological response called fight and flight and freeze.

That's what happens to our body.

Our body adapts to the stress that our body is doing.

But sometimes, when we can't handle it, that's the bad stress.

Doc, this is a good topic that can be a highlight because of the mental health and all.

But you know, it's part of our life to have problems, struggles in life.

So, how can we avoid or at least mitigate the effect of having stress?

To avoid stress, we need to train our body and mind to be calm.

By doing little activities like deep breathing, guided meditation, or exercising,

and eating healthy.

We should also manage our social media time because most of us forget to read or read social media.

We spend our time not knowing that we are also stressed.

And the most important thing is to connect with others.

What are the effective exercises to de-stress?
