Farmers endure the high heat in making deep well irrigation
  • 6 days ago
As farmers endure the searing 41 degrees Celsius temperature at Brgy. San Isidro, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, they dug and buried metal pipe to survey water flow beneath an onion and rice field for possible deep well irrigation on Sunday, April 21.

According to them, they are looking for ways to prevent an insufficient supply of water for the next cycle of planting.

The town of San Jose was declared under a state of calamity last month due to El Niño. (MB Video by Noel B. Pabalate)
