00:25As Ru says afterward, drag is not a contact sport.

00:35That didn't stop Season 3 contestant Mimi I'm First from picking up fellow

00:38competitor India Farrah and throwing her over her shoulder like a sack of wet laundry.

00:43Ru didn't stop it, because after all, they are there to make good TV.

00:47But the open-mouthed look of shock and the icy glare on her face afterward said it all.

00:59She was not impressed by this demonstration of strength.

01:01If a queen can't stand on her own two feet and make it through a lip sync without

01:05sabotaging a competitor, she's not fit to be America's next drag superstar.

01:18This stunt only cemented Mimi's inevitable ousting from the season.

01:22Number 9.

01:23Slapping Asia O'Hara

01:25Stage slapping the queens was a mainstay of RuPaul's Drag Race.

01:29After all, it seems RuPaul loves to live out her dynasty catfight fantasy.

01:33But during this particular mini-challenge, Ru lived that fantasy a little too fiercely.

01:46One by one, the queens would come up and work to receive a playful shadow slap from the host.

01:51The best reaction would win.

01:53Well, Ru misjudged one movement and actually made contact with Asia O'Hara's face.

02:07Embarrassed, she was quick to apologize,

02:09but she looked like her entire career was flashing before her eyes.

02:12It was Asia who said what Ru was thinking.

02:14This was about to become Asia O'Hara's Drag Race.

02:24A Bad Job

02:26If you want to know how a team did in the challenge, just look at Ru's face after they finish.

02:39The queens of season 5 were tasked with creating and starring in a kid's show.

03:05It's like she's trying to smile in the face of abject pain and terror at its badness.

03:24Latrice Royale and Kenya Michaels Lip Sync

03:27Latrice Royale gave one of the best lip syncs in the show's herstory in season 4.

03:40My life was so unkind.

03:42That would have been true even if she hadn't gone against Kenya Michaels,

03:45who completely misunderstood Aretha Franklin's You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman.

03:49You can do all the tricks you want,

03:51but if it's not that kind of song, it's not that kind of song.

03:54Ru's stone-faced expression as Kenya gestures towards her is so cold that it could give you frostbite.

04:00It's only matched by the look of absolute adoration from the judges as Latrice kills it.

04:17It's like night and day and leaves no question who's about to sashay away.

04:23Honey Davenport Jumps Off the Stage

04:26At this point, I don't know if she's gonna send three of us home or if she's gonna send two home.

04:34My mind is blank.

04:35We don't really know what RuPaul was thinking

04:37when she made six drag queens lip-sync on the same stage at the same time.

04:40But we got a glimpse into her mind amid the chaos and desperation

04:44when bottom queen Honey Davenport threw themselves in front of the panel

04:47and began thrashing on the ground.

04:57When Honey sashayed away, it was not a surprise.

05:00Ru had silently said her goodbye as soon as the contestant flopped off the stage.

05:05The host wasn't just unimpressed.

05:14She looked offended that someone would treat this moment and her floor so carelessly.

05:20Detox's Snatch Game

05:22In the snatch game, there's a fine, fine line between taking a risk and going overboard.

05:29I just woke up here.

05:30You're at the snatch game, honey.

05:32What's that?

05:34That's what Season 5 queen Detox found out when they played an odd,

05:38obnoxious caricature of pop star Kesha.

05:40Both Alyssa Edwards and Lanaysha Sparks were so bad,

05:43they made Ru stumble over her words and question her reality.

05:46Flip her hair back and forth.

05:50I think it's whip your hair back and forth.

05:54See?

05:54But only Detox decided to simulate relieving herself on the set.

05:58Ru didn't know what to say.

06:00The host tried to play along, but it was obvious that a space

06:03was already being cleared for Detox in the snatch game hall of shame.

06:06Do you have toilet paper?

06:08Yeah, I'll get somebody to clean that up.

06:16Utica Bombs the Stand-Up Challenge

06:18Like so many comedy challenges,

06:20Season 13's Miss Congeniality Roast had its winners and its losers.

06:25Utica Queen's fashions were always innovative,

06:28but her comedy here was about as fresh and new as week-old bread.

06:32You know, Ross and Simone, I think you guys would make a great couple.

06:35Simone and Pumbaa.

06:38For much of it, Ru was smiling politely.

06:41At most, she was just humoring the sure-to-be-bottom-placing queen

06:44while she died inside listening to those incredibly awkward punchlines.

06:48But once Utica came for her...

06:50it was on.

06:58To paraphrase the old adage,

06:59a nasty hand gesture is worth a thousand words.

07:02Though it was all in good fun,

07:04it was a clear sign that Ru wasn't feeling Utica-set.

07:11Mo Hart and the Vixen Lip Sync

07:13If you bomb snatch game, you better slay the lip sync.

07:17And if you want to slay the lip sync,

07:19for the love of Ru, keep your wig on.

07:21If it's killed a queen's chances once,

07:23it's killed them a thousand times.

07:29Mo Hart had every opportunity to redeem herself

07:32in this Carly Rae Jepsen lip sync.

07:33Instead, she didn't learn her lyrics

07:36and tossed her wig off before the first chorus.

07:38Cancel your reservations, no more hesitations.

07:42This is un-can-make-it-stop.

07:47The heat generated from Ru's eyes

07:50as she watched that flying hairpiece

07:51could power a nuclear reactor.

07:53That was all it took.

07:55Mo was essentially out before the song was over.

07:57That was even before the cartwheels.

08:06At least we think they're cartwheels.

08:08Spoiler alert, Ru didn't like those either.

08:14Workroom walkthroughs are usually

08:16RuPaul nudging the queens towards greatness,

08:18if not downright telling them exactly

08:20what they need to do to succeed in the competition.

08:32RuPaul's critiques were clearly weighing on Pearl's mind.

08:36When she got cheeky with the host,

08:37Ru looked like she wanted to have her own

08:39be quiet Tiffany moment.

08:50No one can lay a verbal smackdown

08:52like the Queen Mother herself.

08:53But it's moments like this that make us remember

08:55just how much she can communicate with a death glare.

08:58Pearl was clearly shaken by the encounter.

09:47double elimination had such a lackluster lip sync

09:50grease the main stage.

09:51The host looked so uncomfortable witnessing

09:54such an uninspired performance to such a legendary song

09:57that she could not hide her disdain.

09:59Every choice, every move was wrong for the track.

10:02Dax and Layla became the second pair of queens

10:04to face a double sashay.

10:15Considering how disappointed Ru was,

10:17it was a surprise to no one.
