Vanity, polygamy, weltschmerz. – The Turk R. and the German M. are male samples of the species homo sapiens. We get to know them in their familiar habitat (Berlin), learn how they groom themselves (in front of the mirror at home) and how they hunt for food (in a Mexican bar and a Jamaican restaurant). We see them coupling with the females of the species (both couple with two females each) and find out what drives them to the edge of despair.
The movie reached cult status during its three-year run in Berlin's "Kellerkino" and has been screened at numerous international film festivals.
