Shelby American introduced its first product based on the next-generation 2024 S650 Ford Mustang. Thanks to the Whipple supercharger and other modifications, the 2024 Super Snake will offer buyers over 830 hp (619 kW / 841 PS) of pure, unadulterated American fun.
The supercharger is located on Ford's 5.0-liter V8, but it doesn't have to be that way. If you're afraid of becoming a meme on our offbeat pages, the 2024 Shelby Super Snake will be offered with +830 hp or a more manageable 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS).
Buyers who choose the second option will be offered some important changes, such as a suspension tuned to provide sharper responses. Shelby also added a Borla exhaust system for better airflow, modified the brakes for shorter stopping distances, and improved cooling to keep them working lap after lap.
