A serial burglar who targeted properties across east London on Christmas Day has been jailed for six years.

Met officers managed to track down and capture 26-year-old Ethan Veiro, of Orsett Terrace, Woodford Green, after he robbed and burgled a spate of victims on December 25 2022.

The chase began in Ilford and went on to Essex, where Veiro drove onto the M11.
