Iran's first ever direct attack on Israel — after decades of hostility — employed more than 300 missiles and drones. Given most were intercepted with little damage, it's likely Israel won't feel the pressure to respond to the extent it has against Hamas in Gaza, said Mark Cancian, senior adviser with the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
