00:00 Hello, good evening. There's going to be quite a lot of cloud around wherever you are for
00:04 the next few days, but we will be staying on the milder side of things at least until
00:08 Sunday. You can see that with the oranges on the map showing that milder air, but notice
00:13 weather fronts were going to continue to push into northwestern areas. So these areas are
00:17 likely to see some spells of rain through Friday and into Saturday. For those weather
00:21 fronts then sink southwards into Saturday evening, introducing much colder air for the
00:25 end of the weekend. So I think by Sunday you'll really notice a difference in the temperatures.
00:29 But for the time being, we've still got that milder air and high pressures actually dominating
00:34 more southern areas. So that's going to bring drier weather through Friday here. Further
00:39 north and west, though, as I said, weather fronts are going to push in so we could see
00:43 some heavy outbreaks of rain through this evening across parts of Northern Ireland before
00:46 that moves away into western areas of Scotland. Some northwestern areas of England, parts
00:51 of Cumbria could see some heavy rain as well. Further south for much of central southern
00:56 England, Wales too. It should stay dry tonight, but it's going to be quite a cloudy night
00:59 and actually over the high ground in the west. Also coastal areas will probably be quite
01:04 a lot of low cloud and drizzle as there was this morning. So quite a murky start of the
01:08 day for some of us, but it's going to be another very mild start to the day. Once again, temperatures
01:13 won't dip down much below double digits wherever you are. In the far north of Scotland, it'll
01:18 actually be a fairly bright start to the day once again. But elsewhere across Scotland,
01:24 Northern Ireland, northwest England will likely stay overcast with outbreaks of rain
01:27 coming and going through the day. I think particularly western areas of the Highlands
01:30 will see the heaviest rain through the day. Elsewhere for Wales, central southern England,
01:35 it's going to be another dry day. The sun should break through once again, but it will
01:40 be fairly hazy. But at this time of year, it's still strong enough to pick the temperatures
01:44 up. So we're likely to see 20, 21 degrees across the southeast, but widely temperatures
01:49 up towards the higher teens. Having said that, though, if you are across the west coast through
01:53 Friday, I think you'll notice the breeze and there'll also be some cloud persisting across
01:57 coastal areas of southwest Wales, parts of Cornwall as well. Now, this area of rain in
02:03 the northwest will sink southwards on Friday evening and it could turn quite heavy and
02:08 blustery for a time. So parts of northern England are more likely to see some rain through
02:12 Friday evening that could move into parts of north Wales as well. Behind it, though,
02:17 it will turn drier for a time. You can see some quite heavy showers starting to break
02:20 out and those will become more of a feature through Saturday. To the south of this band,
02:25 though, it should stay dry and mild. But once again, there'll probably be quite a lot of
02:30 cloud around, particularly across the south coast, the southwestern areas as well. So
02:33 another mild start here. But further north, you'll really notice the difference by Saturday
02:38 morning to a much colder feel. And through Saturday, this band will slowly but surely
02:43 sink southwards, probably bringing some cloudier skies and outbreaks of rain to parts of the
02:47 Midlands, more widely across the Pennines in particular, possibly into the southwest
02:51 later on in the day. But again, ahead of this band, it's still going to be fairly dry and
02:56 mild. However, behind this band, that's where it's turning colder and more unsettled. Some
03:01 quite gusty winds, particularly across northwestern areas of Scotland. Also some very heavy showers.
03:06 These bring a risk of hail, but also a colder feel. And that colder feel is going to become
03:11 a little bit more widespread for Sunday, but it should stay largely dry for more southern
03:16 areas. If you want more details on your full weekend forecast, make sure you check out
