A viral video of Philippine Tarsiers being disturbed in their habitat, shared by a vlogger identified as "Farm Boy," triggered netizens to raise concerns. In the video, men are seen laughing while holding the tarsiers tightly and asking them to smile.

Meanwhile, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 12 released an official statement on Wednesday, April 10, regarding the “disturbing video of improper treatment” of the tarsiers, informing the public that the two animals have already been released to the wild by the vloggers.
