As Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company promises a $25 billion expansion in Arizona, the Biden administration said earlier today it will give the chipmaker up to $6.6 Billion in federal grants. This marks the second major U.S. chipmaking grant announcement of the last three weeks from the Biden administration, as the president works to keep advanced semiconductor manufacturing here in the U.S..
