Angels subdue Defending champion Cool Smashers

The Petro Gazz Angels outlasted the defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers in a hard-earned five-set win, 15-25, 18-25, 26-24, 25-19, 15-13, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna on Saturday, April 6.

In a sold-out event where Creamline’s fan based dominated the arena, team captain Remy Palma reminded her squad to focus despite the thundering noise of the spectators.

Palma contributed 12 points to Petro Gazz.
