00:00 My name's Rufus Hall and we're going to be going through the makeup process

00:04 where Christian and Robin will help to change me into Prince Andrew.

00:09 This is going to be fascinating. Slow down for this, get all the details.

00:15 We get an image of Rufus and then we overlay an image of Prince Andrew

00:21 to see what are all the key features and what are the key changes to be done.

00:26 Just being in the makeup room and watching the process and feeling it happen,

00:30 stage by stage you just kind of accept each new layer.

00:33 We've got eye bags to apply, nose piece to apply and forehead to apply.

00:38 In the end we're working out what physical characteristics are key.

00:43 You don't know until you get them on the face, do you?

00:45 It's funny that sweet spot isn't it? Half me, half him.

00:48 We're trying to create the weight and the age of Prince Andrew.

00:51 Because he pulls his chin in to his collar quite a lot,

00:54 that is actually an emotional part of how he's trying to deliver what he's trying to say.

01:04 The painting is pretty much complete, so me and Robin normally step away

01:08 and leave Kirsten to start doing the hair work.

01:10 You know we do the prosthetics and then the hair and it's not just the size of it but the feeling of it.

01:15 I don't think twice now, it's become a kind of new version of me.

01:19 When you finally feel like the makeup has taken shape,

01:22 you get into a routine of what you've got to do.

01:24 With all of the costume and the voice and the body stuff,

01:28 just a combination of all of those things coming together just incrementally work.

01:32 You know I thought that all went very well.

01:35 Like a walk in the park.
